Atiq Sandhu lives in Griffin Close with his family, and has lived in Chalvey for the past 25 years. Atiq owns and manages a popular and well-known local business in the ward, which he has run for the last 30 years.  As a result, he spends every working day in Chalvey, talking with local people and hearing a first-hand what exactly the local concerns are and how they should be tackled.

As a Chalvey resident himself, Atiq is passionate about the ward and our local community here.  He is active in local community life and in regular touch with local groups and voluntary organisations working in the ward. He is committed to improving local facilities; to raising the standard and upkeep of the local environment; and to ensuring Chalvey residents have a good quality of life.

Mandeep Kaur Rana is passionate about improving our local community, with a focus on childcare
and family issues, having two children of her own. She has lived with her husband in Slough for
seven years. Mandeep is a committed campaigner, active in a range of local groups and, if elected
on May 22nd, will stand up for Chalvey residents. Mandeep is campaigning for neighbourhood
enhancements, more affordable housin locally, and to keep regenerating Chalvey - with open space
improvements and new facilities including better GP provision.

MOHAMMED SHARIF

Mohammed Sharif has been one of your Chalvey Councillors since 2011. Mohammed has lived
in Chalvey for 16 years, and is married with a young family. He is University Graduate in Computer
Science and works as an IT software consultant for a large multi-national company. Mohammed
attends the Chalvey Forum and Chalvey Partnership and supports a range of voluntary groups
locally, trying to build a stronger Chalvey community. He is keen to address anti-social behaviour,
improve the standard of local housing and improve children’s education, if re-elected.
